Alicia comes to us with extensive experience in strategic growth, communications and leadership development. She is passionate about values-driven, purpose-led work and we feel so fortunate to have her guidance as we grow.

Why did you want to join the 50th Parallel team?
I wanted to join 50th Parallel PR because the work is rooted in values, clarity and integrity, which aligns deeply with how I approach storytelling and strategy. I also saw an opportunity to help scale a purpose-driven agency while building something genuinely meaningful alongside a team and leadership that I respect.

What is your favourite tool to work with?
Empathy.

What motivates you?
The youth of today!

The 50th Parallel office will be closed for a holiday reset from December 25 to January 2.

50th Parallel was born out of a vision to empower the powerless and Rosemary Brown has a quote that speaks volumes to that vision.

As the first Black Canadian woman elected to a provincial legislature and the first woman to seek the leadership of a federal political party, she understood what it meant to break barriers that were never meant to open.

When we open doors for people who have been historically and continually shut out, we help spark a movement that supports not just one, but many people in stepping into their rightful place at the table.
