Yes, we did the math… While we may be a little late, we’d never miss the chance to celebrate you.

Chantal’s journey at 50th Parallel actually began as an incredible contractor, and when she officially joined the team as our Senior Account Associate last year, we were elated.

Her thoughtful approach and energizing presence bring so much light to our team and the work we do with our clients. We’re beyond grateful for everything she brings to the team.

We're deeply grateful to share that our work with the @temexwtreatyassociation (TTA) has been recognized with an IABC Silver Leaf Award of Merit (@iabcgram @iabc.bc)

This recognition is especially meaningful because of the intention behind the work and the relationship that makes it possible.

For nearly a decade, we’ve had the honour of supporting TTA’s communications and engagement efforts as they advance modern treaty negotiations alongside their member Nations.

From communicating complex treaty processes to developing accessible, community-centred materials, our work is grounded in a shared commitment to ensuring people have the information they need to understand what’s happening and what it means for their communities.

Awards are never why we do this work, but seeing its impact recognized by our peers is deeply meaningful.

We are incredibly thankful to TTA for their continued trust and partnership, and to our team for the care, dedication and thoughtfulness they bring to every stage of this work.

We celebrate this recognition with deep appreciation for the journey so far and excitement for the important work still ahead.

Tomorrow, the Communicating for a Better World Conference (@communicatingforabetterworld) begins in New York City, and we’re honoured to be supporting as communications and media relations advisors.

Over three days, communicators will explore some of the most consequential issues facing our profession, including information integrity, artificial intelligence, social media, campaigns, visual communication, crisis communications and media.
These conversations matter.

Communication influences what people understand, what they believe and, increasingly, what they trust.

We’re looking forward to listening, learning and bringing those conversations back into the work we do with our clients.

We spend a lot of time helping organizations communicate with the people around them.

But strong external relationships begin with strong internal ones. Building trust with others begins with building trust within our own teams.

That’s one of the reasons why we make time to come together as a team.

Not simply to talk about what we’re working on, but to talk about how we’re working:

- What could be better?
- What do we need from one another?
- How can we show up more intentionally for our clients and communities?

The way we create and sustain our internal community shapes the way we show up everywhere else. Values become meaningful when they are put into practice — and that’s what we mean when we say we practice conscious PR.

Re-envisioning the future takes people willing to challenge the status quo, share new perspectives and put ideas into action.

That’s what made the Net Zero Conference such a meaningful space to be part of.

We were energized to join people across industries who are working to turn that vision into reality. These conversations remind us that meaningful change depends not only on the ideas we bring forward, but on the relationships we build and the trust we cultivate along the way.
