We are deeply saddened by the tragic events that occurred in the Tsawwassen First Nation community yesterday during the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation gathering.

Our thoughts are with the families and loved ones of the two Elders who lost their lives, and with the entire Tsawwassen First Nation community as they grieve this devastating loss.

That this loss occurred as community members gathered to honour Survivors, remember the children who never returned home and walk together in the spirit of truth and reconciliation makes an already heartbreaking day especially difficult.

We recognize the profound impact of this tragedy and the grief being felt across the Tsawwassen First Nation community.

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day call on us to reflect on the history and ongoing impacts of the residential school system, while honouring the resilience and contributions of Indigenous Peoples.

Reconciliation is an ongoing process, which is why, not just today but every day, we reflect on truth, commit to reconciliation and amplify Indigenous voices.

Trust often breaks down in the gap between what an organization says and what people can actually see, understand and experience.

That’s why we’re sharing these three questions to help uncover where your trust could be at risk.

Where have you seen or experienced a breakdown in trust?

We’re feeling a sense of refresh this fall. 🍂

With the change in season, we’re getting back into routine (back to school!) and setting our intentions for the months ahead.

For us, that means full calendars, new projects and lots of exciting work underway.

Here’s to a new season and all the possibilities that come with it!

Trust isn't something communications can manufacture.

What communications can do is strengthen the conditions in which trust can be built.

Swipe through for some of the ways we use communications to help build trust for our clients.

This month, we shared that our 2026 giving as a 1% for the Planet member (@1percentftp) had been certified, with more than $10,000 contributed to our environmental partners.

As part of that announcement, we promised to introduce you to the organizations behind that impact.

Our team selected partners with a focus on organizations working within the communities where we live and operate, allowing our giving to support environmental action that is both meaningful and close to home.

Swipe through as we proudly introduce our current environmental partners and some of the important work they’re doing.
