THOUGHT LEADERSHIP OFFERING

Ricky-Lee Watts is a first-generation university graduate, passionate dreamer, traveler, motivational speaker, and visionary leader.

Experienced in working with Indigenous communities, universities, and government, he oversees Generation Power at Indigenous Clean Energy, an Indigenous youth clean energy and career training programme. He was also an elected councillor for his nation and models with SuperNaturals Modelling, an Indigenous agency.

A part of Ricky-Lee’s personal mission is to be the role model he needed he was younger, and inspire people to find beauty and strength within themselves, their community, and in the world around us.

At 50th, we partnered with Emmiko to amplify this light through a comprehensive thought leadership and social strategy. With a special focus on Instagram and video content, we were able to help him connect with his specific audience and tell his story.

Ricky-Lee has continued using his wisdom and guidance to empower individuals to reclaim their power, rise above life’s challenges, and embrace their authentic selves.

We are honoured to be a part of his story.

Our process began with a workshop in which we deep dove into Ricky-Lee’s and used various tools and exercises to identify the key information we need about him to create the parameters around his brand positioning. Once we gathered this information, we developed a detailed brand positioning document that defined the way his brand would present to the world. This document expresses a purpose/mission, role, customer value proposition, audience snapshots, competitor snapshots, core insight for each audience group, the emotional benefit, functional benefit, positioning statement, elevator pitch, brand essence, brand personality, and brand values.

Once we were set with the Strategy, it was time to visualize it! We began a collaborative process to create guiding elements for Ricky-Lee’s brand. This phase’s outcome included a brand guide with a brand mark (logo), typography style, colour palette, graphic style and/or image style, as well as some examples of implementation for his brand.

During the final stages of the project, we worked with Ricky-Lee to create materials with the goal of kick-starting his brand. We created a social media strategy, as well as design assets for stationery and digital platforms.
