Culture defines your reputation.

Stakeholders can tell when an organization’s internal reality aligns with its external messaging and when it doesn’t.

Organizations that invest in a strong, genuine team culture, recognize their people authentically and ensure leaders consistently model stated values, build credibility that competitors cannot easily replicate.

When culture is neglected or when there is a gap between employee experience and external claims, reputational risk can undermine even the strongest communications strategy.

The most effective brand strategy begins inside the organization.

Swipe through for three ways to measure the effectiveness of your organizational culture.

What does it look like to lead with intention?

For our founder and managing director, @nazlauriault, it means making space to pause and reset.

Join us in wishing her a restorative and inspiring break. We can’t wait to see what this next chapter will bring.

Organizations that invest in intentional communication don’t just respond to challenges — they build trust before it’s tested.

Use these questions to identify where perception and practice may not yet be fully aligned.

Your reputation isn’t defined by whether something goes wrong. It’s defined by how you respond when it does.

At 50th Parallel, we believe conscious PR means communicating with intention, integrity and accountability — especially when the pressure is on.

Follow along as we share the framework for this approach.

What is conscious PR?

At 50th Parallel, we believe conscious PR is about building influence with intention.

It's not simply about securing media coverage — it's about helping organizations and individuals become part of the right conversations, build meaningful relationships and earn trust through authenticity, alignment and consistent action.

In other words, it's about positioning our clients in the right rooms, the right conversations and the right communities.

When communications are rooted in purpose and supported by genuine action, the opportunities that follow are more meaningful, more sustainable and ultimately more impactful.

Whole-person leadership is the practice of leading from your full humanity, not just your expertise. It’s the lived experiences, values and self-awareness that shape how you show up in the world.

Nene (@neneinharmony) is a transformative coach and spiritual leader who empowers individuals, particularly Indigenous leaders, to heal from trauma and find balance. Her holistic coaching empowers people to realign their inner world, enabling them to thrive and create lasting change, both personally and within their communities.

We partnered with Emmiko to support Nene in amplifying her work through a comprehensive whole-person leadership strategy.

What we supported:
- A whole-person leadership strategy
- Brand guidelines and Canva templates
– Social media guidelines
