Apparently, 2026 is the new 2016, and the more we sit with that, the more it makes sense. 

Ten years ago, 50th Parallel didn’t officially exist. What did exist was @NazLauriault, navigating her consulting journey, building meaningful relationships and paying close attention to the kind of impact she wanted to make. 

All the while, 50th Parallel was forming quietly in the background. 

What’s wild to look back on is how much of that era is still with us. The clients who trusted us early on, the community work that shaped how we show up and the belief that storytelling, collaboration and care are essential to building something that lasts.

We’ve grown a lot since then. Each year we show up more intentional, more grounded and more sure of who we are. But at the core, not much has changed.

Because some seasons aren’t meant to end. They’re meant to evolve.

Why did you want to join the 50th Parallel team? 
I wanted to join 50th Parallel PR because the work is rooted in values, clarity and integrity, which aligns deeply with how I approach storytelling and strategy. I also saw an opportunity to help scale a purpose-driven agency while building something genuinely meaningful alongside a team and leadership that I respect.

What is your favourite tool to work with?
